Start a Chapter
We Get It! Starting a High School Club Can Be Challenging...
The Project Smile Core Team aims to make your role as a club president as easy and impactful as possible! The Core Team will ensure you feel comfortable hosting club meetings, spearheading fundraisers, and recruiting new members. We are excited to work with you!

Steps for Creating a Chapter
1
Chat With
Us
Please contact us to set up your initial meeting with a member of the Project Smile core team. During our first meeting, we will provide a general overview of Project Smile and discuss any questions you may have about starting a Project Smile chapter.
2
Gain Chapter Approval
Every high school has its own process for approving new clubs. Please work with your guidance counselor to learn more about your school’s club approval process. Please note that most high schools require clubs to have a faculty member serve as a chapter advisor.
3
Recruit Club Members
After your club is approved by your school, we will work with you to develop a recruitment strategy tailored to your high school.
4
Host First Meeting
The Project Smile Core Team will provide you with materials to be shared during your first meeting. We will ensure you have everything you need to feel prepared and ready to execute!
5
Form Executive Board
As a chapter president, you will be responsible for establishing and leading an executive board that consists of fellow students / club members.
6
Start Fundraising
The Project Smile Core Team will work in lockstep with you to establish fundraisers, contact hospitals, and coordinate toy donations.
